Just in Time / Giusto in Tempo
Theorising the Contemporary / Pensare Il Contemporaneo
This collection reframes the contemporary as a fissure in time, urging radical historical change. The interdisciplinary essays collected in this volume problematize the idea of 'contemporary' as the present. Adopting various philosophical, art theoretical and literary approaches, they demonstrate that the contemporary is an open fissure in the present, which lacerates the linear flow of time. This anachronism is 'just time' to make radical changes in history.
