Andres Jimenez studied biochemistry at the University of Miami, then completed the Dartmouth/Brown medical program, receiving his MD from Brown University. He continued on to general surgery training at Emory University and completed an educational leadership fellowship at USC School of Medicine. Dr. Jimenez holds a Master's degree in Healthcare Leadership from Weill Cornell Medical College, an MBA from Cornell Johnson School of Management, a Master's degree in Education focused on Instructional Design for Online Learning from Capella University, and a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.
