War of the Nocturne's Widow is the third installment of the Chopin Trilogy, after "The Willow's Bend" and "Chasing the Winter's Wind."The novel opens with a feud developing between the CIA and MI6 over a missing agent. The Willow's Bend
"The Willow's Bend" is the first title of the Chopin Trilogy. This novel introduces retired CIA officer Stanley Wisniewski, who is called in by a defense firm to investigate the drowning of one of their executives days before in the canals of Amsterdam. As Stanley takes up the investigation, he has a series of flashbacks to when he started his career and his father was dying of cancer. His father was attempting to tell him of how he survived his internment in the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Second World War. The two tales, of Stanley's investigation and his father's survival story are told in alternating chapters, and come together in the unexpected twist in the conclusion of the story.<BR>The remaining two titles of the Chopin Trilogy are "Chasing the Winter's Wind" and "War of the Nocturne's Widow."

The Life of Marek Zaczek Volume 2
This book is the second installment in the historical fiction saga, "The Life of Marek Zaczek." It follows the life of this young Polish peasant boy from his birth in 1772 through the era of the Partitions of Poland, and on through the Napoleonic Wars which he becomes immersed in. Volume 2 "Embers of Love and War" picks up a few years after Volume 1 "Under the Wings of Eagles."
