This book synthesizes the current literature on the effects of vaping on voice and discusses the pathophysiology of voice symptoms in affected patients. The detrimental impact of e-cigarette smoking on various systems in the body, including those that affect voice production, is also reviewed. E-cigarette smoking has been shown to impair pulmonary function, which jeopardizes the power source for voice production.
