Lemony Snicket

Lemony Snicket ist der Künstlername von Daniel Handler. Er wurde in San Francisco geboren und ist als Schriftsteller, Drehbuchautor und Musiker tätig. Als solcher ist er zeitweise Mitglied der New Yorker Band Magnetic Fields. Er schrieb die erfolgreiche Kinderbuchreihe 'Eine Reihe betrüblicher Ereignisse'. Lemony Snicket dient darüber hinaus als Kunstfigur, zu der Handler sogar eine fiktionale Autobiografie verfasst hat.Jon Klassen stammt aus Ontario, Kanada. Sein Bilderbuch 'Wo ist mein Hut' wurde in mehr als 30 Sprachen übersetzt und gewann 2013 den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis in der Sparte Bilderbuch. Diesen Erfolg wiederholte er mit seiner Bilderbuch-Trilogie 'Dreieck Quadrat Kreis' 2020. Jon Klassen lebt in Los Angeles.
