Cercare di difendere questo suo diritto mi ha fatto iniziare a studiare e capire che cosa sia davvero l'identità di genere. Ma la cosa che mi ha aiutato di più in questo viaggio è stata conoscere tante persone transgender, di ogni età e di ogni nazionalità. Ognuna con la propria storia e le proprie peculiarità esattamente come chiunque: persone però che vivono in una società che non solo non le prevede, ma che ad oggi ancora pare non avere alcuna intenzione di prevederle.
